Highlights across the range

Apple AirPods deals

If you own an iPhone or multiple Apple products, the AirPods Pro are likely the best true wireless earbuds on the market for you. Unlike the base AirPods, the latest Pros offer better sound quality and feature active noise cancellation, not to mention seamless integration with iOS and a MagSafe-compatible charging case.

While the AirPods Pro carry a lofty $249.99 price tag, they also go on sale rather frequently. During Black Friday and Cyber Monday, for instance, we saw them drop as low as $160. They’re no longer available at that price, but you can still get a pair with the MagSafe charging case for $189.99 at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. B&H Photo, meanwhile, has them for $194.99.

Alternatively, you can buy a pair of second-generation AirPods — now the entry-level model — with either a wired or wireless charging case. The base AirPods normally retail for $129, but you can currently get the version with the wired charging case for $109.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, or Walmart.

If you prefer a little more convenience, you can also get a pair of the second-gen AirPods with a Qi-compatible wireless charging case for a few dollars more. Apple no longer sells the wireless configuration — and they’ve become increasingly difficult to find online — but you can still get them for $149.95 instead of $199.99 at B&H Photo and Best Buy.

Last on the AirPods block is the recent third-gen model, the latest addition to the AirPods lineup. The earbuds blend a bit of the AirPods Pro look with the hard, plastic build of the second-gen model and come with a MagSafe-compatible charging case. They also offer IPX4 water resistance, improved sound quality, and retail for $179.

Although we recently saw the third-gen AirPods on sale for as low as $140, they currently can only be found for around $169 at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. That’s only $10 off their typical retail price, but if you like the newer design and MagSafe charging, it might be worth considering.

AirPods (third-generation)

Similar in appearance to their sleeker sibling, the AirPods Pro, the latest entry-level AirPods boast a new charging case and shorter stems. They’re also water-resistant, unlike the 2019 model, and sport better battery life.

Samsung Galaxy Buds deals

Samsung has a few different wireless earbuds to choose from, including its latest flagship wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro. These earbuds include active noise cancellation and some of the best sound quality of any Samsung earbuds to date.

During Black Friday, the Galaxy Buds Pro were more than $50 off, bringing the price down to around $150 — nearly an all-time low — in select colorways. Thankfully, Target is currently matching that price, selling them in select colorways for $149.99. Amazon has them on sale in purple for $179.99, if you prefer a more vibrant color.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro have a blend of tech found in the Buds Plus and Buds Live, with the best sound quality the company has achieved yet in a pair of earbuds.

Samsung released the Galaxy Buds 2 — a good-sounding pair of earbuds with active noise cancellation, wireless charging, and a subtle design — in August, and we’ve seen plenty of discounts since then at retailers like Woot and Amazon. Right now, for instance, you can get them at Woot for $99.99, their lowest price to date. While these are in new condition, they only carry a 90-day warranty from Woot. If that gives you pause, you can buy them at Amazon with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty starting at $111.10.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

The Galaxy Buds 2 are the new entry-level wireless earbuds from Samsung. Despite this, they’re packed with enough features that people on a budget might be happy choosing these over the pricier Buds Pro.

The Galaxy Buds Plus were our top pick last year for the best wireless earbuds overall but have since been discontinued with the arrival of the Galaxy Buds 2. A successor to the original Galaxy Buds, the Plus model extends the battery life by up to 11 hours and, unlike AirPods, comes in an assortment of colors.

Right now, you can buy the $149.99 Galaxy Buds Plus in black for just $99 at Walmart, which is one of the lowest prices we’ve seen in the last several months and likely one of the last major discounts we’ll see before the earbuds become unavailable.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus

The Galaxy Buds Plus are the last-gen successor to the Galaxy Buds. The biggest change from this model is that the battery life is nearly doubled compared to the original Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy Buds Live are some of the more unconventional wireless earbuds on the market right now, but don’t let their bean-shaped design fool you. The Buds Live are a good option if you want earbuds that produce powerful sound and showcase marathon battery life. Right now, you can purchase a pair of the Galaxy Buds Live starting for as low as $95.97 at Amazon and Target instead of $169.99, which is nearly their lowest price to date.

Samsung’s unconventional wireless earbuds are shaped like beans, but they produce a powerful sound and come with lengthy battery life.

Sony earbud deals

The Sony WF-1000XM4 are our top pick for the best earbuds you can buy, boasting the best noise cancellation of any true wireless earbuds. They offer phenomenal sound quality as well as an excellent battery, and can even be charged wirelessly via the included charging case. Although we’ve seen them sell for as low as $218, they’re only available at Amazon, Target, and Best Buy right now for around $248, about 11 percent off the MSRP. Even at their current price, however, they’re an easy recommendation.

Sony’s WF-1000XM4

Sony’s WF-1000XM4 have the best noise cancellation of any true wireless earbuds, and the sound quality is second to none. The earbuds can also now be charged wirelessly and have a new design that’s smaller and rated IPX4.

If you’re looking for a pair of Sony earbuds that are more budget-friendly, enter the Sony WF-C500. These affordable earbuds came out at the end of 2021, and they prove their worth with good sound quality, excellent battery life, and very aggressive pricing. You may not get active noise cancellation or wireless charging with these earbuds, but they remain an exceptional value. Currently, they are available at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target for around $68, a modest discount on their $99.99 price tag. Read our review.

Sony WF-C500 wireless earbuds

The Sony WF-C500 are a budget-friendly pair of earbuds that prioritize sound quality and battery life. The small and pocket-friendly charging case carries one additional charge, totaling 20 hours of listening time.

Jabra Elite 75t deals

Compared to the competition, Jabra’s wireless earbuds have a rare feature that has yet to become standard in the true wireless earbud market: the ability to connect to two devices concurrently. Ideally, this is great for users who switch between two devices often (like, say, a phone and a laptop).

Despite their age, the Jabra Elite 75t remain a dependable set of earbuds. In our original review, The Verge’s Chris Welch decried them to be the best AirPods alternative you could buy at the time, with a comfortable fit, dual point Bluetooth connectivity, and deep, bass-heavy sound. We were slightly disappointed by their lack of true active noise cancellation, but we’re happy to report that, thanks to a firmware update, the Jabra Elite 75t now include this feature.

Normally $149.99, the Jabra Elite 75t wireless earbuds are currently on sale at Walmart for $82.50, while Amazon has them for $99.99. We don’t expect them to be widely available for much longer, however, given Jabra plans to phase out the Elite 75t in favor of more recent models, specifically the Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active, and Elite 3.

Jabra Elite 75t

Jabra’s Elite 75t earbuds offer bass-heavy sound, reliable performance, and can connect to two devices — like a phone and laptop — at the same time.

Jabra Elite 85t deals

In 2020, Jabra released the Elite 85t wireless earbuds, which are the highest-tier model in Jabra’s current lineup. They offer more advanced noise cancellation than the 75t. However, they also feature less bass and an inferior fit. That said, you can currently buy the Jabra Elite 85t at Amazon for $184.91 instead of $229.99 when you choose the copper black colorway. That’s not as steep as their all-time low of $139.99, but it’s still a $45 discount. You can also buy them at Best Buy and GameStop for $199.99 when you choose the black colorway.

Jabra Elite 85t

Jabra’s Elite 85t have noise cancellation and a semi-open design, letting them breathe a bit more than the company’s other models. One of their most impressive features is the ability to handle multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously.

Jabra Elite 3 deals

The Jabra Elite 3, one of the newer models from Jabra, are also available right now at a sizeable discount. In his review, The Verge’s Chris Welch noted that even though the Jabra Elite 3 shed features like active noise cancellation and multipoint Bluetooth support, they still provide an excellent listening experience at a relatively low price point. Normally $79.99, the earbuds are currently on sale at Amazon in select colorways for $72.95.

Jabra Elite 3

Jabra’s Elite 3 earbuds have a refreshed design that’s more stylish than the company’s past earbuds. While they don’t have many frills or extra features, they fare well in the key areas of sound quality, comfort, and battery life.

Sennheiser’s Momentum True Wireless 2 deals

Sennheiser’s Momentum True Wireless 2 are another pair of excellent noise-canceling earbuds that are currently on sale. As noted in our review, the earbuds offer great ANC performance, customizable controls, and sound that can nearly match that of a premium pair of noise-canceling over-ear headphones. Normally $299.95, you can buy them right now at Adorama for $190, one of their better prices to date, or at Target for $199.95.

Beats Powerbeats Pro deals

If you’re currently in the market for a reliable pair of wireless earbuds for your workouts, it’s hard to go wrong with the predecessor to the Studio Buds, the Beats Powerbeats Pro. These earbuds sport an over-ear hook that keeps them in place while you’re exercising; they also offer IPX4 sweat- and water-resistant, meaning you don’t have to worry about ruining them should your workout get intense.

Currently, there are a few different discounts available on the Powerbeats Pro, which normally retails for $249.95. The lowest price we’ve found is at Amazon, where you can buy them in select colorways for as low as $169.95. If Amazon doesn’t have the color you’re after, however, you can also pick them up at Best Buy, Staples, Walmart, or the official Beats storefront, all of which are selling them in several colors for around $200. That’s not the lowest price we’ve seen the PowerBeats Pro go for — they were on sale for around $150 throughout most of November and December — but it’s still a hefty discount on what would otherwise be a $250 pair of earbuds.

Beats Powerbeats Pro

The Beats Powerbeats Pro provide up to nine hours of battery life, with 24 hours provided by the case. They’re IPX4 sweat- and water resistant, too, and feature Apple’s H1 chip for easy pairing and hands-free Siri commands.

UE Fits deals

After testing a pair for ourselves, we remarked in our review that the UE Fits were the most comfortable consumer earbuds on the market. That’s because, unlike the other wireless earbuds on this list, the UE Fits are uniquely capable of permanently molding to the shape of your ears in just 60 seconds, making them a great choice for those concerned their earbuds may come loose or fall out. At the same time, however, we also found that they offer good sound quality, as well as lengthy, eight-hour battery life. Normally $199.99, you can get them right now for just $164 from Ultimate Ears.

UE Fits

The UE Fits come with ear tips that permanently mold to the unique shape of your ears in just 60 seconds. This allows for a much better fit that you can comfortably wear for hours.
