The upcoming Disney Plus<\/a> series stars Diego Luna, who is reprising his role<\/a> as Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.<\/em> The show will hit the streaming platform on August 31st.<\/p>\n Details about the show have been relatively light, though Disney\u2019s website<\/a> describes the show as a \u201ctense nail-biting spy thriller.\u201d At today\u2019s panel, it was confirmed the season will be 12 episodes long \u2014 much longer than a typical Star Wars<\/em> show \u2014 and will take place five years before the events of Rogue One<\/em>. \u201cYou\u2019re not going to recognize Cassian Andor in the beginning,\u201d Luna said during the panel.
