The Screen Capture icon is in the pop-out menu on the side; it looks like a circle in a square. (You may see a smaller version without the text.)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\nYou\u2019ll get a small menu at the bottom of the screen with several icons. From left to right, they\u2019ll include:<\/p>\n
\nScreenshot (for still captures)<\/li>\n Screen record (for video captures)<\/li>\n Take full-screen screenshot<\/li>\n Take partial screenshot (a crosshair icon will appear; click and drag it until the part of the screen you want to copy is highlighted and then let go).<\/li>\n Take windows screenshot (for a single window)<\/li>\n Settings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/source><\/picture>\n

If you click on the Settings icon, you can adjust your audio input, decide whether your mic should be live, and select the folder that you want to save your screenshots or recordings to.<\/p>\n
Using the keyboard<\/h2>\n A faster way to take a screenshot is by using key combinations. <\/p>\n
To take a screenshot of the entire screen, use the Ctrl + Show windows<\/strong> key combination. The Show windows key, which looks like a rectangle with two lines on the right side, is on the top row of the keyboard. (It\u2019s the equivalent of the F5 key on a PC keyboard.)<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/source><\/picture>\n

The \u201cShow windows\u201d key is in the middle of the top row.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n\nPress the Shift + Ctrl + Show windows<\/strong> keys to get the same menu that you\u2019d get by going into the Quick Settings menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nSave and edit your screenshot<\/h2>\n After you\u2019ve taken the screenshot, a copy of the screenshot will appear in a pop-out window just above the Quick Settings menu. Click on it to show it in the folder. Any screenshot you take will automatically end up in the Downloads folder<\/strong> \u2014 but you can change which folder you want to save it to via the Settings <\/strong>button in the Screen Capture <\/strong>menu.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/source><\/picture>\n

After the screenshot pops up, you can save it, edit it, or delete it.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\nYou can also click on the Edit<\/strong> or Delete<\/strong> buttons. The Edit button will take you to a fairly useful app that lets you perform such basic tasks as cropping and rotating, rescaling, annotating, or tweaking the lighting.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/source><\/picture>\n
