Capcom is continuing its trend of remaking classic Resident Evil<\/em> games with the fourth mainline entry in the survival horror series. A remake of Resident Evil 4<\/em> will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X \/ S, and PC on March 24th, 2023, bringing the action-focused game to modern platforms. Capcom also says the game will feature some kind of support for the next iteration of PlayStation VR<\/a>. You can check out the first trailer above to see what a next-gen Leon Kennedy looks like.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe aim to make the game feel familiar to fans of the series, while also providing a fresh feeling to it,\u201d Capcom wrote in a blog post<\/a>. \u201cThis is being done by reimagining the storyline of the game while keeping the essence of its direction, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to a modern standard.\u201d Additionally, Capcom shared that \u201cmany team members\u201d from the excellent 2019 Resident Evil 2<\/em> remake<\/a> have worked on this title.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Capcom revealed<\/a> that Resident Evil Village<\/em> is also in the works for PSVR2, and it sounds terrifying. Here\u2019s Capcom:<\/p>\n
